Company
Two generations of candy-making experience
The story begins with one person’s wish to leave hunger behind. In his mid-to-late teens, the first generation learned candy making at a factory run by a Japanese operator. In the mid-1980s he returned to handmade sweets at a small factory called Narae Food.
In the early 1990s the youngest son joined the floor. He started by cleaning the machines and spent about fifteen years with his father, learning blending and production management.
On 8 June 2010 that experience became Cheongwon Food. Candy making in the family already ran across two generations.

Global Business
From Korean expertise to global opportunities
Building on its candy manufacturing experience in Korea, Cheongwon Food is developing Golden Dalgona with a manufacturing partner in China. Preparations began in 2025, followed by trial production in August 2026.
Alongside Golden Dalgona, our trading team in China sources products from partner factories for import into Korea and supply to other markets. Each product is reviewed for its manufacturer, country of origin and commercial terms.
